Layouts distributed across customer sites from one place.
Through customer work, I saw a need for ready-made layouts that retailers could add to their own pages.
I designed a set of preset layout blocks on a row-and-column grid for the SiteOrigin page builder and packaged them in a custom plugin. The plugin allowed new or updated layouts to be distributed to customer sites from one place. That’s the part I’d point to: the design system was a distribution decision as much as a visual one.
Customers and the front-end engineering team responded positively to the layouts.
